Ovens are an important component in many scientific applications, and thus form an integral part of daily laboratory use. Ovens are often used for general investigations and may also be used for various drying and curing processes. Mining sample preparation is often done using a laboratory hotplate to heat samples which may contain toxic chemicals for analysis. Naturally the laboratory equipment used for this purpose must be made from corrosion resistant materials.
